Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Magical Cleaning Services wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website. We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we keep reviewing and improving the site.

What We Have Done

• A visible focus indicator on every link, button and field, with a three-band ring on buttons so it shows on light and dark backgrounds.
• A skip-to-content link, one main heading per page and headings in order.
• A visible label on every form field. Errors are explained in a sentence, tied to the field for screen readers and never shown by color alone.
• Alternative text on every photo. Decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
• A mobile menu that keeps focus inside it, closes with Escape and returns focus to the menu button.
• The cleaning-level tabs work with the arrow keys. The before-and-after photos have a button that says whether the before or the after is showing, and both photos carry alternative text.
• Tap targets of at least 44 pixels on phones, and form text of at least 16 pixels.
• Support for the reduced-motion setting, which turns animation off. The decorative sparkles appear once and are still within five seconds.
• Each page is marked with its language (English or Spanish) so screen readers use the right voice, and short phrases in the other language are marked too.

Known Limitations

• Some words in headings use a decorative script font, like the one in our logo. It is real text that screen readers read, but some people may find it harder to read.
• Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA. Google builds and controls it, and we cannot guarantee its accessibility.
• The logo uses light colors (sky blue, lavender and lime) that fall under 3:1 on white in places. The business name is also written out as text on every page.
• We have not yet tested the site with real users of screen readers or other assistive technology. Our review has been done in the code, with the keyboard and by measuring contrast in a browser.
